Job summary

The YMCA of Superior California is hiring part-time School Age Leaders for our School Age Program in Sacramento. We seek positive, energetic team players who help children realize their potential and support social and emotional learning through supervised activities.

Responsibilities include planning recreational activities, homework help, snacks, and enrichment opportunities, in collaboration with the Site Director, with a focus on safe supervision and engaging programming.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 48 college units in ECE, Recreation, Developmental Psychology or other related fields.
• Must pass Dept. of Justice and FBI fingerprint clearance.
• TB questionnaire.

Responsibilities

• Teachers work closely with the Site Director to ensure the proper supervision of children.
• Plan and implement recreational activities, homework assistance, snack, and enrichment opportunities that support children’s social and emotional learning.
