The Salvation Army in Michigan is seeking a Youth Program Counselor to guide and ensure youth safety during camp activities. You will assist with planning, support kids with their needs, and help create a positive Christian environment for a safe summer day camp experience.
Responsibilities include running youth activities for ages 5–16, tutoring in the homework room, and promoting youth group events while maintaining safety and proper records.
The Youth Program Counselor guides and ensures the safety of children as they engage in camp activities. Assists with activity planning and receive special training to fully support kids' needs during their stay at the camp. Works with children, co-workers, and other staff to provide a safe and beneficial summer day camp experience in a Christian environment. To help provide a fun and a safe place for youth to play and to learn values that will stick with them for a lifetime.
