Job summary

Jackson County, Missouri—Field Services is seeking a non-exempt Juvenile Field Services Officer to counsel and coordinate services for youth and families. You will assess needs, develop treatment plans, supervise progress, and testify in court when required.

You will work under the deputy court administrator, coordinating with schools and treatment providers to ensure compliance with court orders and access to protective services as needed. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Two years of work experience in the same or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Assess youth and families to determine treatment and service needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and services.
• Attend court, testify and recommend case actions.
• Counsel youth and families, individually and in groups.
• Provide supervision and monitor progress toward goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and case histories.
• Coordinate with schools, providers and stakeholders.
• Transport youth to home, school and other visits.
