Job summary

BestSelf seeks a Youth Peer Advocate to work with Transition Aged Youth (12–26) delivering peer advocacy and recovery support in community settings. You will mentor youth, assist with education and employment connections, and coordinate with the care team to promote wellness and recovery goals.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, bilingual preferred, and a willingness to obtain/maintain peer certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual strongly preferred.
• Must have lived experience as a youth or related peer support background.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Word/Outlook/Teams helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer advocacy services to transition aged youth (12–26).
• Direct contact, outreach, mentoring, and crisis support for enrolled youth.
• Assist youth with education opportunities, employment, and health home integration.
• Collaborate with program staff to advocate for services and recovery goals.
• Maintain detailed written records of activities and KPIs.
