  1. Under the leadership of the Youth Director, help create and lead theologically grounded, culturally relevant, and engaging discipleship environments for high school youth through large groups, small groups, Bible studies, social events, and outreach opportunities.
  2. Build meaningful relationships with youth and volunteers by providing spiritual encouragement, mentorship, prayer, and consistent relational presence both within and outside ministry programming.
  3. Support the broader mission of West Side Youth by assisting with outreach initiatives, parent meetings, family ministry events, retreats, mission trips, and other key discipleship experiences.

  2. Oversee and execute the administrative, logistical, and operational needs of the ministry, including communication, scheduling, volunteer onboarding, event coordination, reporting, budgeting support, database management, and compliance with church safety policies.
  3. Help plan, coordinate, and improve West Side Youth programming and events throughout the year—including retreats, mission trips, outreach events, and social gatherings—while maintaining an engaging ministry presence both in‑person and online.
Responsibilities with the Redeemer West Side Staff Team
  1. Participate in regular RWS staff meetings, trainings and events

  6. Strong team player who thrives in dynamic environments and handles confidential information with care
  7. Able to serve and connect well within a culturally and socio‑economically diverse community
  8. Willing to embrace all aspects of youth ministry, including behind‑the‑scenes responsibilities
