Job summary

Broad Street Baptist Church in rural Georgia seeks a full-time Associate Pastor/Minister of Youth for grades 6–12. The ideal candidate will invest in students, work with a youth committee, and teach/disciple at the Christian Learning Center.

The role includes pulpit responsibilities in the pastor’s absence and active church service, with emphasis on discipleship, doctrinal fidelity, and missions. Some theological training is preferred, and compensation will be based on experience per Lifeway

Qualifications

• Must be a Christ-honoring, hardworking, and humble man.
• Desire to spend time and invest in the lives of students in grades 6–12.
• Willing to work with a youth committee and be involved in the community.
• Teach and disciple public school students during the day through our Christian Learning Center.
• Fill the pulpit in the absence of the pastor and serve the church as needed.
• Discipleship-focused, doctrinally and biblically sound; passion for reaching the nations.
• Qualified Scripturally as an elder as described in 1 Timothy and Titus.
• Adhere to BF&M 2000 as the church's statement of faith.
• Theological training in Bible college or seminary is preferred.
• Compensation based on experience and Lifeway Compensation Study.
