Zusammenfassung

Rite of Passage is hiring a Youth Mentor at the Woodford Group Home in Mishawaka, Indiana. You will provide safety, round-the-clock in-person supervision and assist youth with physical, personal and health needs through counseling and skill development.

As part of a supportive team, you will monitor behaviors, document activities, and help youth work toward their treatment plan goals in a secure residential setting.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Pass criminal background check, physical, and TB test.
• Pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Aufgaben

• Provide safety and around-the-clock in-person supervision of youth at a secure residential facility.
• Provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through individual counseling and skill development.
• Monitor and document behaviors and activities; participate in educational, social, athletic and recreational activities.
• Collaborate with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each youth's treatment plan.
