Columbus Metropolitan Library is seeking a Youth Learning Associate (20 hrs./Non-Exempt/Part-time) at Linden Branch to support School Help operations in the Learning Center and help create a welcoming, productive learning environment.
Responsibilities include assisting K-12 students with assignments, guiding research, and mentoring youth while coordinating volunteer activities and events. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Starting Pay Range: $19.23-$25.48 hourly (commensurate with experience)

As a Youth Learning Associate, you will assist with School Help operations in the Learning Center, working under the guidance of the Youth Services Manager to support students and ensure a welcoming, productive learning environment.
The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, and residences or commercial vehicle (e.g., use of safe workplace practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, and/or working in moderate outdoor weather conditions.
Work requires minimal demand for physical effort.
