YMCA of San Diego County in Encinitas, CA is seeking a Youth Leader – ELOP to supervise participants and plan daily activities before and after school. You will work with families, schools, and staff to provide academic support and enrichment while promoting healthy choices and youth leadership.

Youth Leader - ELOP
Under the supervision of the Site Supervisor, the Youth Leader – ELOP is responsible for the direct supervision of program participants, and for the daily planning and implementation of program activities. The Youth Leader collaborates with other team members, families, and school personnel to provide participants with academic support, enrichment activities, and other student programs that increase student skill building, encourage healthy choices and behaviors, promote diversity and equity, support youth voice and leadership, and increase overall academic achievement. The Youth Leader position requires high energy, dedication, patience, and a strong desire to mentor youth, strengthen families, and serve the community.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 6:30am - 8am + 12:45 - 6pm in Escondido
Must be available at least 3 days
