The YMCA of the Cedar Rapids Metro Area is seeking a passionate Youth Lacrosse Instructor to teach lacrosse to youth, focusing on safety, fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence. This role involves creating engaging, positive classes and providing a supportive environment for young athletes.

Responsibilities include planning and conducting lacrosse sessions, teaching skills and rules, demonstrating equipment use, and communicating with parents to support participant growth and development.

Qualifikationen

• CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED and Basic First Aid certifications must be obtained within the first 60 days.
• Must be at least 16 years old with instructional experience or participation in the area of instruction.

Aufgaben

• Plan and conduct lacrosse classes for youth.
• Teach fundamental lacrosse skills and game rules.
• Demonstrate proper equipment use and safety practices.
• Encourage participant growth and development and provide feedback.
• Maintain class records and communicate with parents as needed.
