Job summary

The YMCA is seeking a Youth Gymnastics Instructor to inspire a love of gymnastics in children by providing engaging instruction in a safe, fun environment. Candidates will plan and conduct classes for ages 4–12, demonstrate skills, supervise practices, and encourage growth while modeling YMCA values.

Ideal candidates have coaching experience, strong communication, and a genuine interest in working with kids, with CPR/AED/First Aid certification obtained within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Passionate belief in nurturing youth and healthy living.
• Certifications CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED and Basic First Aid must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Must be at least 16 years old and have experience participating in instruction; prior teaching preferred.

• Plan and conduct gymnastics classes for youth aged 4–12.
• Demonstrate fundamentals and techniques; oversee practices and progress.
• Maintain class records and safety; uphold YMCA policies.
