Job summary

Pathways, Inc. in Rochester, NY is seeking a Support Professional to work within the Therapeutic Foster Care Program. The role includes casework, case management for youth and families, rehabilitative services, skill building, respite, visit coaching, and transportation for youth and families.

The position offers hourly pay of $22.00 - $22.66 per hour (depending on related experience). A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education or related human service field is preferred;

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal communication and sound writing skills are essential.
• Must have excellent skills in supervision, organization, interviewing, counseling, and training.
• Ability to relate to individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education or related human service field is preferred; experience may substitute.
• Advanced degrees preferred.
• A minimum of one year experience providing services to children with serious emotional disturbances and their families is preferred.
• Must meet the requirements of the School Age Care, Day Care, and/or Office of Children and Family Services Regulations regarding a State Central Register Clearance regarding history of abuse/maltreatment of children.
