Job summary

Bellewood & Brooklawn is seeking a Part-Time Chaplain to provide pastoral care and spiritual support for residents and staff. The role includes worship services, counseling, and collaboration with faith communities as part of a holistic mental health approach.

The position involves 20-25 hours per week, primarily on-site at the Bellewood and Brooklawn campuses, with occasional off-site events or church partnerships. Evening or weekend duties may be required for special services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Pastoral Care or a related field.
• Ordination or recognized standing in a Christian denomination preferred.
• Must maintain standing in a faith tradition and engage in ongoing education and development.

Responsibilities

• Spiritual Care: Provide individual and group pastoral care and counseling to residents and staff as needed.
• Religious Services: Conduct monthly non-denominational religious services and lead faith-based activities.
• Faith Facilitation: Organize access to faith-based services and provide religious materials for residents of all faiths.
• Community Engagement: Build relationships with local churches and faith groups, representing Bellewood and Brooklawn at faith-based events.
• Advancement and Outreach: Support partnerships with religious organizations and assist in fundraising and volunteer efforts.
• Special Events: Participate in and support religious and community events and outreach initiatives.
