Job summary

Boys and Girls Club of Benton County in Rogers, AR is seeking a part-time Teen Youth Development Coordinator to support teens in our Teen Program after school hours from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM. You will foster an engaging, emotionally safe environment and help design inclusive programs that reflect teens’ interests and needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Experience with teens/youth preferred.
• Understanding of trauma-informed care and adolescent development.
• Ability to plan, organize, and lead activities.
• Strong interpersonal and group facilitation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Build safe, trusting relationships with teen members.
• Participate in training on trauma-informed care.
• Supervise and engage members with empathy.
• Encourage youth voice and participation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, sensory-friendly environment.
• Collaborate to plan and lead structured activities.
• Implement weekly programming reflecting teen interests.
• Transport youth using Club vehicles following protocols.
• Serve as a consistent presence and advocate for teens.
• Communicate respectfully with families and caregivers.
• Recommend supplies to enhance engagement.
• Administer first aid calmly as needed.
• Assist with daily cleaning tasks.
• Support youth behavior with restorative practices.
