Gracehaven is seeking a Youth Direct Care Specialist to support traumatized youth in our Ohio therapeutic group home. This role involves trauma-informed, direct care across shifts, with emphasis on safety, positive engagement, and relationship-building in a Christian, mission-driven setting.

The ideal candidate has prior caregiver or direct care experience and is called to serve. You will participate in staff meetings, maintain compliance documentation, and embrace spiritual responsibilities

Gracehaven is currently hiring for Youth Direct Care Specialist for multiple shifts 1st, 2nd, 3rd, workdays and weekends.

We are seeking individuals with past experience as a Caregiver, Direct Care Professional, Resident Care Associates, Direct Care Staff, Health Care Aid, Behavioral Health Care Aid, Patient Care Assistants, Youth Caregiver, Supervisors, Managers and Leaders.

Gracehaven is an Ohio based Christian nonprofit that operates a Therapeutic Group Home located in Central Ohio for youth who have experienced sexual exploitation and human trafficking. What is a Youth Direct Care Specialist?

A Youth Direct Care Specialist is responsible for the well-being of youth placed at Gracehaven's therapeutic group home. Youth Direct Care Specialists provide high quality, trauma informed, direct care to youth in the home and facilitate positive interactions with all individuals related to a youth's placement.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible to create and adhere to the agreed upon learning agreement and objectives


• Responsible to engage in addressing Social Work Competencies


• Meet requirements for supervision


• Responsible to meet compliance standards in documentation


• Attend staff/team meetings


• Responsible to meet ODJFS requirements, HIPAA, and CARF Requirements


• Responsible to actively embrace spiritual responsibilities
