Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a Youth Developmental Disabilities Behavioral Support Specialist in Columbus, OH. The role offers hourly pay between $18.20 and $20.90, with Monday to Friday scheduling and some flexibility for travel within the service area.

Responsibilities include providing Therapeutic Behavioral Services under clinician supervision, planning individualized supports, and coordinating treatment plans. A driver's license and related health experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to qualify.
• Bachelor's or Master’s in a related field, or a high school diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Related experience or training in mental/behavioral health conditions.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation; willingness to travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients with licensed clinician guidance.
• Develop service plans and coordinate healthcare, behavioral health, and supportive services.
• Offer linkage, interventions, and daily living skills restoration and crisis prevention.
• Deliver services to individuals or groups as needed.
• Maintain positive, cooperative relationships with external contacts.

Responsibilities may include:

• Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients by consulting with a licensed clinician to assist with the individual's needs.
• Provide service planning for individualized supports or care coordinator of healthcare, behavioral health, non-healthcare services and development of a treatment plan.
• Provide linkage, interventions, treatment options, restoration of daily life skills and crisis prevention services.
• Provide services to individual clients or groups of clients.
• Promote a positive and cooperative relationship with all outside contacts.

Requirements for this position include:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Bachelor's or Master's level degree in a related field or a high school diploma or three or more years of relevant field experience.
• Related experience or training with mental or behavioral health conditions.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation.Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
