Job summary

The Salvation Army TX-Houston International Corps in Houston, TX seeks a Part-Time Youth Program Assistant to support after-school activities and youth development. You will help plan, implement, and supervise programs, assist with member registration, and promote participant engagement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related field experience with Children and Youth preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Youth for Success: create an environment facilitating youth development outcomes and promote program participation.
• Program Development and Implementation: administer programs, monitor safety and quality, prepare activity reports, and support outreach to increase membership.
• Driver Role: safely transport members and staff, follow safety procedures, ensure accountability and proper vehicle maintenance.
• Facility & Equipment Management: help maintain facilities and storage areas, report repairs and janitorial needs.
