Job description

Hours & Availability:

We are seeking both Full-Time and Part-Time team members!

  • Full-Time Team Members can expect roughly 35 to 40 hours per week, generally Monday–Friday during core Club hours (11am - 7pm during school year), with occasional evening or weekend event support.
  • Part-Time Team Members typically work between 20 and 25 hours per week, making this an ideal schedule for students or after-school mentors.
  • Pay Range: $15.25 –$16.85 per hour
  • All Employees Receive: Colorado Paid Sick Leave, paid holidays, retirement options, professional development, and a supportive, fun team environment.
  • Full-Time Bonus Perk: Full-time positions include our comprehensive healthcare package (Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage) and Paid Time Off (PTO).
What You’ll Do:

As a Youth Development Program Coordinator, you’ll plan, lead, and supervise activities for youth ages 6–18 within one or more core areas (Education, Arts, Health & Wellness, Leadership, or Sports) to provide a world-class after school Club experience at one of nine after‑school Clubhouses. Please visit https://www.bgcpckids.org/clubhouses to see our location information.

Our Clubhouses are vibrant, high‑energy spaces where no two days are the same! To thrive in this role, you should be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑noise environment. This position requires the physical ability to remain active and on your feet for the majority of your shift, move quickly to supervise youth in various settings (gym, outdoors, classrooms), and the ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs if necessary.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified candidates will have 1+ years of experience leading programs for youth in the school age group. Because our mission focuses on school‑age success, experience with infants and toddlers is not applicable toward the required experience for this position.
  • Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates with a background or active interest in Social Services, K-12 Education, or STEM disciplines.
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional, patient, kind, and enthusiastic about youth development who can be a positive role model that leads by example.
  • Able to communicate and work well with diverse backgrounds
  • Organized and able to work independently
  • Willing to learn, grow, and be part of a team

All candidates must pass a background check prior to employment.

Full time candidates must be able to:
  • Safely transport youth members to and from schools, community partners, and field trips using company‑owned minibuses or 15‑passenger vans.
  • Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate transportation logs, and strictly enforce child protection and vehicle safety protocols during transit.
Driver Eligibility Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older (required for fleet insurance eligibility), possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean motor vehicle record, and successfully pass state background checks, fingerprinting, and pre‑employment/random drug screenings.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
