Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of federal/state laws relevant to juvenile detention.
• Ability to operate detention and monitoring equipment.
• Able to communicate clearly and write accurate reports.
• Must be able to work non-traditional hours and shift work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents for safety and security; enforce policies.
• Process new residents, document charges, take fingerprints/photos.
• Coordinate court appearances and accompany residents to hearings.
• Transport meals and supervise kitchen/cleaning tasks.
• Address medical requests and participate in training programs.
• Perform release duties and install monitoring equipment if needed.
• Maintain logs and attend mandatory trainings.
• Perform restraints when required and follow supervisor instructions.
