Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc is seeking part-time coaches to lead classes for children ages 5–10 at Bay Area elementary schools, Mon–Fri 1:00–5:00 PM, about one hour per class with optional extra prep. Pay is $50–$65 per session, with equipment provided and a short 2-day training before start.

Ideal candidates live locally, are 19+, reliable, and comfortable working with kids in a fun, active setting; transportation is required and a TB test + Live Scan may be required prior to beginning.

Qualifications

• No formal degree required; experience with coaching or working with children is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be 19+ years old at application.
• Must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Willing to undergo TB test and Live Scan background check before starting.

Job Overview

Our programs are held at various elementary schools, Monday–Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This is a part-time position where coaches typically teach one class per day (about one hour), with the possibility of an extra 30 minutes of pre-care. These sessions focus on creating a fun and energetic environment for younger and beginner-level children.

The pay ranges from $50–$65 per session, and all equipment is provided by us.

• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Equipment (provided by the company). (Coach should have reliable transportation)
• Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.

Requirements

• Must be 19+ years old upon application
• Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports you are applying, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work
• Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload in our website and introduce your experience in sports.

Work Type

Part-time (2–5 hours per week) Pay: $50–$65 per session

Programs are offered at multiple schools across the Bay Area. Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.

We do have other Programs like Yoga, Soccer, PE, Pickleball, Volleyball, Basketball, Floor Hockey and Dance. You’re welcome to apply to any of these as well.
