Job summary

TGA Premier Sports is seeking a Cheer Coach to lead clinics and after-school programs for youth aged 5-12, teaching cheers, routines, and basic stunts in a fun, supportive atmosphere.

You will build teamwork and confidence, plan engaging lessons from our curriculum, and communicate with parents about progress and upcoming performances. CPR/First-Aid certification and reliable transportation are required; training and paperwork are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, preferably in a coaching or teaching capacity.
• Must own a car to get to classes.
• Willingness to participate in training sessions provided by TGA.
• Ability to complete required training and paperwork promptly.
• Must be CPR and First-Aid trained.
• TB test done OR completed within the first week of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cheerleading classes and clinics for elementary-aged students.
• Prepare and implement lesson plans based on TGA's curriculum.
• Encourage teamwork, confidence, and a positive attitude among participants.
• Adapt lessons to accommodate varying skill levels within the group.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding class activities and progress.
• Assist with the development of cheer routines for performances and displays.
