Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Previous experience working with an adolescent population preferred.

Responsibilities

Leading daily programming activities and promoting positive participation.
Engaging with residents through recreational activities, groups, meals, and other aspects of daily living.
Responding to critical resident needs as they arise.
Participating in developing and maintaining a therapeutic, safe, and supportive environment.
Actively participating in house and team meetings.
Attending initial and ongoing training sessions.

As a Youth Care Worker, you will facilitate a positive living environment for our teenage residents by offering support, encouragement, and guidance. The ability to understand the perspective of others is critical and staff must truly care about the success of youth. You will work alongside residents to support achievement of treatment goals through engagement in healthy and productive daily activities by doing the following:

The minimum shift requirement is one weekday shift per week and two shifts every other weekend. Additional shifts may be available for individuals interested in working additional hours above the minimum requirement.
