Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of supervision/leadership experience with youth in a residential setting preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate leadership, reliability and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of shift staff and coordination of staff schedules.
• Monitor youths' behavior and arrange appropriate supervision methods.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate records/logs.
• Complete administrative reports and brief oncoming staff.
• Be able to perform required physical duties for safety and restraint as needed.
• May require overtime, weekend work, and shift variations.
• Complete DJJ Training Academy requirements and maintain needed certifications.
