Job summary

Universal Health Services’ Foundations for Living in Mansfield, Ohio, is seeking a compassionate Youth Care Specialist to provide daily care, supervision, and support to residents aged 10-17 within a trauma-informed program.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, implement treatment plans, document progress, and help maintain a safe, structured living environment. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, with weekend work during the initial period.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Foundations for living is a residential treatment center in Mansfield, Ohio, for youths aged 10-17. We provide trauma-informed care that supports emotional healing, personal growth, and academic success in a structured and compassionate environment. Our 84-bed facility is licensed to provide treatment for mental health and substance use disorders, including dependence. Through individualized support and evidence-based programming, we are committed to helping youth build stability, resilience, and hope for the future.

Our residential treatment facility is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Youth Care Specialist to work with at-risk youth receiving treatment services for trauma. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing daily care and supervision to our residents, while working collaboratively with a team of professionals to ensure the delivery of quality care. A Youth Care Specialist works closely with our youth ensuring our residents are safe and programming successfully within our facility. This position allows you to utilize your own creativeness to support our youth on a daily basis. The Specialist provides direct care, safety and security, and supervision of residents through positive role modeling. The Youth Care Specialist actively works to support the facility mission of providing an environment of safety so that the residents feel empowered to heal the wounds of the past and build a foundation of hope for the future.

Available Shifts:

We are currently hiring for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift, which pay between $18 and $21.50 per hour, based on education and experience.

• 1st Shift - 5:45am - 2:15pm
  2nd Shift - 1:45pm - 10:15pm
  3rd Shift - 9:45pm - 6:15am
• Scheduled a 4-day work week, two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts.
  Will work weekends for at least the first 90 days of employment.
