Job summary

Youth Opportunity is seeking a Clinical Director to join Lebanon Youth Academy in Lebanon, TN. The role leads clinical services, supervises staff, and supports youth through stabilization and treatment, delivering care in a structured residential setting.

The position requires active licensure in a clinical field, a master’s degree in a related field, and strong supervisory experience, with on-site leadership for a 18-bed youth program.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Clinical Psychologist in Michigan.
• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, or related human services field.
• Minimum two years of direct-care clinical experience, with at least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work with youth in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and evaluate the work of master’s level clinical staff.
• Ensure therapy staff follow fidelity of evidence-based practices.
• Organize and oversee clinical documentation and treatment planning, ensuring state/COA/contractual compliance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary treatment teams and oversee special-needs programs.
• Provide diagnostic evaluation, routine counseling, or crisis intervention as required.
• Participate in local management to set policy and monitor resources; may require on-call duty.
• Serve on the local quality improvement committee as liaison with management.
