Responsibilities include promoting programs, planning activities, organizing practices, teaching fundamentals, and ensuring eligibility and safety for participants. Requires a high school diploma or GED (or 64 college hours) and completion of a criminal records check with CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Must understand and promote extracurricular programs in schools and community.
• Ability to plan and supervise practices and meetings.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in youth activities.

Responsibilities

• Promote extra-curricular programs in the schools and community.
• Plan the assigned extra-curricular program.
• Organize and supervise practices and meetings.
• Teach individual fundamental skills of the extra-curricular activity.
• Check eligibility of participants, including insurance coverage and parent consent.
• Provide students a proper role model, emotional support, patience, a friendly attitude and general guidance.
• Recommend the purchase of equipment and supplies as appropriate for the health, safety, and welfare of participants.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Adhere to the Professional Code of Ethics
• Follow all McCracken County Public Schools Policies and Procedures.
