Job summary

Gallup-Mckinley County Schools is seeking an Athletic Coach for 5th Grade Boys Basketball at Chee Dodge Elementary School. The position is a Winter Sport with on-site duties and evening/weekend practice commitments.

Qualifications

• Has ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Has previous successful coaching experience in the assigned sport.
• Coach must know technical aspects of the sport and seek new coaching theories.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and conditioning.
• Maintain role modelling through instructions and actions.
• Coordinate with athletic director and principals for program objectives and evaluations.
• Work evenings and weekends as required to support the team season.
