Qualifikationen

• Experience: Prior coaching or playing experience in basketball is preferred, particularly at the youth or middle school level.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of age-appropriate motor skills, basketball fundamentals, and positive coaching techniques.
• Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Certifications: Valid First Aid / CPR / AED certification (or willingness to obtain prior to the start of the season).
• Required state athletic/coaching certifications and background checks (e.g., NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion in Sports, Implicit Bias, and state background screening).

• Skill & Player Development: Teach foundational basketball mechanics and lead structured practices.
• Game Knowledge & Strategy: Introduce fundamental concepts and simple offensive/defensive strategies for 10–12-year-olds.
• Teamwork, Character, and Sportsmanship: Model fair play, respect, resilience, and a positive team culture.
• Program Management & Communication: Supervise players and maintain clear communication with parents and staff.
