Job summary

A summer camp organization in California is hiring Coaches for youth baseball and softball camps across San Diego County. Ideal candidates are energetic individuals with experience in coaching or playing baseball/softball. Responsibilities include ensuring camper safety, managing daily activities, and executing camp curriculum, along with fostering a fun and positive environment. Pay ranges from $18 to $23.50 per hour based on experience. Locations include La Jolla, Santee, and more.

Qualifications

• Commitment Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day for 3-5 weeks.
• Reliable transportation to various camp sites.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers.
• Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day.
• Execute curriculum daily under Site Director's direction.
• Provide feedback during drills and games.

Skills

Experience with children ages 4-13

Coaching or playing baseball/softball at high school level
