Job summary

Responsibilities include supervising participants, coordinating outreach, and building partnerships with local stakeholders. A focus on positive youth development and anti-oppression work is essential; flexible hours, including weekends, may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Peer/Credible Messenger certification is preferred (e.g., CRPA, NYSPA, YPA, FPA).
• Two years of experience working with youth and young adults is required.
• Preference given to those with lived experience of substance use or related systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise program participants during all program operations.
• Utilize Evidence Based Practices to support youth and young adults aged 16–24.
• Submit monthly documentation in a timely manner.
• Refer participants for internal or external support services.
• Participate in regular internal meetings.
• Co-develop educational materials and outreach for the coalition and DFC program.
• Develop partnerships with community members and stakeholders.
• Participate in coalition meetings and workgroups.
• Foster positive youth development and model professional behavior.
• Support staff with program coordination and development.
