The Bedford-Stuyvesant YMCA is seeking an Activity Specialist to provide a safe, positive environment for children and opportunities for learning, interaction, and personal growth. You will prepare age-appropriate instruction across physical, cultural, and enrichment areas.

Responsibilities include health and safety supervision, planning engaging activities, promoting healthy living, and coordinating events, while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with staff and families.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College credits and formal education preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience with youth in group settings.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of participants with supervision.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and events.
• Teach healthy living and fitness fundamentals to participants.
• Maintain accurate program documentation (sign-in/out, attendance, behavior).
• Collaborate with staff and families, build positive relationships.
