Qualifications

• Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License with a clean driving record and ability to obtain a Chauffeur license.
• Knowledge of traffic codes and safe vehicle operation in line with local/state laws.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen, and background checks.
• Ability to attend work regularly and work under stressful conditions.
• Team environment suitability and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned vehicle safely, courteously and on schedule.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform pre/post-operation inspections.
• Read and follow work instructions and adhere to MTA schedule.
• Assist passengers including elderly and mobility-impaired with care.
• Collect ridership and farebox data per MTA procedures.
• Communicate via equipment per FCC and MTA rules.
