Job summary

Carbon Performance is seeking a certified Group Yoga Instructor to lead safe, energizing classes at our Salt Lake City location. The role blends traditional yoga with a yoga sculpt style that incorporates strength, mobility, and conditioning to meet members' performance goals.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of group yoga teaching experience, CPR/AED certification, and skills to coach a strength-based yoga approach while maintaining a high-quality instructional standard.

Qualifications

• Certified Yoga Instructor with CPR/AED certification.
• At least 1 year of experience teaching group yoga classes.
• Experience coaching a strength-based yoga sculpt style.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver well-structured yoga classes focusing on flexibility, balance, mobility and strength.
• Teach a yoga sculpt style integrating bodyweight strength and conditioning.
• Engage and motivate members with clear cueing and energetic coaching.
• Provide modifications for all fitness levels and ensure safety and atmosphere of group sessions.
• Collaborate with the team to evolve Carbon's group fitness experience.
