Job summary

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is seeking an experienced Yoga Instructor to provide on-call coverage at our San Diego corporate client location. You will lead safe, engaging classes for participants, adapting to varying levels and schedules, and support special events as needed.

This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to help participants achieve wellness goals. Candidates should have a 200+ hour certification, CPR/First Aid, and 2+ years of group exercise experience;

Qualifications

• 200+ hour Yoga Teacher certification required.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, engaging, and inclusive yoga classes on an as-needed basis.
• Fill in for regular instructors and support special events as opportunities arise.
• Provide on-call coverage at the corporate client location in San Diego, CA.
• Ensure fun, effective, and safe instruction for members and guests.

About the role

HealthFitness is seeking an experienced Yoga Instructor to provide on-call coverage at our corporate client location in San Diego, CA (near Torrey Reserve).

In this role, you'll lead safe, engaging, and inclusive yoga classes on an as-needed basis, filling in for regular instructors and supporting special events as opportunities arise. This is an excellent opportunity for instructors seeking a flexible schedule while helping participants achieve their health and wellness goals.

Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe Yoga instruction to members and guests.

Minimum Requirements

• 200+ hour Yoga Teacher certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $50 - $55 per class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
