Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking an on-call Yoga Instructor for its corporate fitness center in Kingsport, Tennessee. You will lead engaging yoga classes, creating a positive atmosphere and delivering safe, effective instruction to participants of all levels.

This flexible role supports the wellness program, with typical classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and requires 200HR+ Yoga certification plus CPR/AED & First Aid within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 200HR+ Yoga certification required.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

In this flexible role, you’ll lead engaging and inclusive yoga classes that inspire participants of all experience levels to improve their physical and mental well-being. You’ll create a positive, energizing atmosphere while delivering safe, effective instruction that helps members build confidence, reduce stress, and achieve their wellness goals.

Typical class schedule:
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 5:30 PM - 6:45 PM

Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.

Minimum Requirements

• HealthFitness approved 200HR+ Yoga certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. The compensation range for this role is $25/hr - $30/hr. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
