Job summary

US Fitness is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead energetic group classes and partner with our Group Fitness Director to deliver an unforgettable member experience in Newport News, VA.

You’ll greet members, foster a positive class vibe, coach toward goals, promote programs (PT, Mind&Body, Aquatics, Kids), track attendance, and keep studios clean. Flexibility with early mornings, evenings, and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Group Fitness certification.
• Specialty cert if your format requires it.
• CPR/AED certification (current).
• Prior group teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track attendance/schedule in MotionVibe, follow payroll procedures, and keep simple class stats.
• Keep studios spotless: reset equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Stay current: maintain certifications and attend required team meetings/trainings.
• Support the schedule: follow sub policies and help cover as needed.
• Be flexible-early mornings, evenings, and weekends happen here!
