Job summary

Trilogy Spa Holdings seeks a Yoga Instructor to design and lead group classes, guiding students through sessions that improve strength, flexibility, and balance. You will motivate guests, ensure proper techniques, and uphold exceptional service standards across the spa.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of teaching experience, RYT-200/500, and a focus on Hatha/Vinyasa and meditation, with strong English communication and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold RYT-200 or RYT-500 through Yoga Alliance or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of continuous yoga teaching experience.
• Experience with Hatha or Vinyasa yoga; meditation focus preferred.
• Familiar with local market and able to market classes via social media.
• Must have strong written and verbal English.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Trilogy’s service philosophy and spa policies.
• Anticipate guest needs and uphold service standards including Forbes 5 Star criteria.
• Interact professionally with guests and spa team.
• Maintain knowledge of group fitness classes.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and proper cleaning of areas and equipment.
• Set and maintain fitness area lighting and music.
• Ensure guest safety during exercise and in wet areas.
• Understand emergency procedures and accident prevention.
• Provide spa facility tours when needed.
• Report guest complaints or maintenance issues.

JOB SUMMARY

The Yoga Instructor is responsible for designing and implementing group yoga classes, performing a mild to moderate session that leads students through exercises that help improve strength, flexibility, and balance. Assists all guests with proper techniques and mind-body yoga connection, providing motivation to ensure achievement of personal wellness goals. Effectively communicates with guests to understand their needs and areas of concern, while maintaining a high level of customer service standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Adhere to TRILOGY’s “Flawless Service, Every Guest, Every Day” philosophy and Spa policy and procedures.
• Anticipate guest needs and uphold Spa and TRILOGY’s service standards for guest service, including FORBES 5 Star criteria.
• Interact cooperatively and professionally with guests and spa team, demonstrating respect, sensitivity, and attentiveness, following all company guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of all group fitness classes and programs.
• Comply with and maintain safety, sanitation, and disinfection standards, properly cleaning and sanitizing products, rooms, tools and equipment, following TRILOGY and State Governing Boards requirements and guidelines.
• Ensure fitness area lighting and music levels are correctly set and maintained.
• Ensure guests practice safety during exercise sessions.
• Ensure guests’ safety in wet areas by removing standing water and reporting unsafe equipment.
• Understand emergency procedures and accident prevention policies.
• Provide guests with a tour of the spa facility, as needed.
• Communicate guest complaints or any maintenance issues to Spa Management.
• Attend mandatory vendor and company training sessions, as scheduled by Spa Management.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Must have Registered Yoga Teacher 200 or 500 through Yoga Alliance or equivalent.
• Must have 2-3 years of continuous Yoga teaching experience, preferred.
• Experience with Hatha or Vinyasa yoga is preferred, as well as a focus on Meditation.
• Ideally, familiar with the local market, have a following, and be proficient at utilizing social media to market themselves and their classes.
• Must be polished, professional, and have a strong command of both written and verbal English.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
