The Gravity Vault Montclair is seeking an enthusiastic Yoga Instructor to lead weekly Tuesday and Thursday classes at 6:00pm as a 1099 independent contractor. Qualifications

• RYT-200 or comparable recognized yoga teaching certification.
• 1-2 years of yoga teaching experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current professional liability insurance.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, engaging yoga classes for varying experience levels.
• Provide clear instruction and demonstration of poses and sequences.
• Offer modifications for individual needs and abilities.
• Incorporate practices that support climbers' mobility, flexibility, strength, and recovery.
• Arrive prepared and begin classes on schedule.
• Complete class preparation and administrative tasks.
• Keep yoga equipment and studio clean and organized.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude consistent with The Gravity Vault's policies.

The Gravity Vault Montclair is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and engaging Yoga Instructor to lead weekly Tuesday and Thursday classes at 6:00pm. This 1099 independent contractor role is ideal for an instructor who is passionate about helping students build strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness through yoga.Our ideal candidate creates a welcoming and inclusive environment for all fitness levels. Climbing experience is not required, but knowledge of yoga practices that benefit climbers is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead safe, engaging yoga classes for students of varying experience and ability levels.


• Provide clear instruction and demonstration of poses, sequences, and techniques.


• Offer modifications to accommodate individual needs and abilities.


• Incorporate practices that support climbers' mobility, flexibility, strength, and recovery.


• Arrive prepared and begin classes on schedule.


• Complete class related preparation and administrative tasks.


• Keep yoga equipment and studio clean, and organized.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Available to teach on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:00pm.


• Passion for yoga, wellness, and fitness.


• RYT-200, NCCA-accredited, or comparable recognized yoga teaching certification.


• Current professional liability insurance.


• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certifications.
