Job summary

YogaSix Oyster Point in South San Francisco is seeking warm, engaging yoga teachers to join a friendly team and elevate practice for our community.

Ideal candidates hold at least a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification and CPR, have 1+ years teaching, and can teach the six core class types with care and safety.

Positions are salaried employees; you will arrive early, build genuine connections, set up the studio, and lead inspiring, playful classes while upholding YogaSix standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification.
• CPR certification is required.
• 1+ years teaching experience preferred.
• Or other fitness certification for Sculpt-only classes.

Responsibilities

• Arrive to studio a minimum of 15 minutes prior to class start time.
• Create a personal connection with each student.
• Create a class experience that shows your personality and skills while adhering to the Yoga Six standards and guidelines for each of the six core class types.
• Set up classroom appropriately: Props, Mat Spacing, Music, Lighting.
• Provide top notch class instruction.
• Follow up with students after class.
• Clean studio space.
• Build community and connection.

Yoga Teacher for Vinyasa-Based Heated Yoga & Sculpt Studio in Oyster Point, South San Francisco.

• Demonstrate the ability to teach a safe, fun, and creative class with a genuine interest in student success, whether novice or seasoned practitioner
• Minimum 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification
• Or other fitness certification for Sculpt-only classes
• 1+ years teaching experience preferred
• Current CPR Certification
• Daytime and weekend availability.

Screened candidates will be invited to attend a preliminary audition.

Compensation: Class rate varies on experience/ability/formats.
