Job summary

Western Elite is seeking a dependable Heavy Equipment Lube Technician (Yellow Iron) to support our fleet maintenance efforts in Las Vegas/Henderson. The role focuses on lubrication, preventive maintenance, fluid services, and basic mechanical work on heavy machinery across recycling facilities and yards.

You will inspect equipment, replace filters, check fluid levels, and assist mechanics while maintaining safety and adherence to manufacturer guidelines. Prior lube experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience performing lubrication and oil changes on heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with maintenance procedures and manufacturer specifications.
• Ability to safely operate basic hand tools and grease equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled lubrication and routine preventive maintenance on yellow iron equipment.
• Change oils, filters, and fluids according to schedules and specs.
• Inspect equipment for leaks, wear, and damage; report issues promptly.
• Support heavy equipment mechanics with basic maintenance tasks as directed.
