Job summary

CME Group seeks motivated students for a year-long Technology Internship in Chicago. You'll work with platform engineers on infrastructure, automation, and monitoring across cloud and on-prem environments. The role offers hands-on learning in DevOps, CI/CD, and big data tooling, with a hybrid in-office setup in Chicago.

You will rotate into Platform Engineer or SRE tracks, develop technical skills, and participate in coding pre-assessments and interviews. Sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergrad or grad degree in CS or related field.
• Experience writing code in Java and/or Python.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Passion for problem solving and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist platform engineers with building reliable processes and systems.
• Learn automation, CI/CD, DevOps, and monitoring practices.
• Gain exposure to Google Cloud and Kubernetes in an infrastructure context.
• Participate in design, research, and proof-of-concept projects.
