# Yavapai Staff AttorneyHot JobPrescott Office - Prescott, AZ 86303## Yavapai Staff AttorneyCommunity Legal Services is seeking a Staff Attorney to fill a position in its Yavapai County Office. The office focuses on a wide variety of civil legal matters, including housing (private and subsidized housing, foreclosures, fair housing, etc.), family law, public benefits (federal and state benefit denial appeals), consumer, and employment issues. The Staff Attorney will be expected to handle litigation in state and federal courts as well as administrative hearings. The Staff Attorney will be expected to conduct zealous strategic advocacy on behalf of clients, including impact affirmative litigation and community outreach. The Staff Attorney will be expected to demonstrate CLS’ core values – Humanity, Respect, Collaboration and Excellence at all times.## QualificationsThe qualified applicant must: have two (2) to five (5) years of experience in the practice of law[BR1.1]; be a member of the Arizona State Bar or eligible for admission pursuant to Ariz. R. Sup. Ct. 38(d); and have a demonstrated interest in ensuring meaningful access to justice for all, especially members of our community with low incomes, in the civil justice system by providing high-quality legal advice, advocacy and assistance.
