Job Summary:

SCA is seeking an energetic and reliable Yard Worker to perform day-to-day yard work at the site. The successful candidate will be highly organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.

Location: 2137 Parkwood Avenue | Columbus, OH 43219

Shift: Monday thru Friday 7 am -4:30 pm, some Saturdays occasionally or as needs may apply

Job Responsibilities:

• Clean the interior exterior of fleet equipment daily
• Mow the property grass during the applicable months
• Maintain the cleanliness of the grounds, shop and garage spaces
• Serve as a backup for any parking lot sweeping needs during your shift
• Deliver parts sold for the Equipment portion of our business
• Deliver rental equipment
• Miscellaneous duties as they arise

Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean driving record for past 3 years
• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience closely related to the field of work.
• Experience working outdoors
• Ability to follow directions and read maps
• Must maintain valid driver's license/good driving record
• Must pass and maintain drug-free status: employment and random drug tests
• Ability to operate a pick-up truck safely
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally
• Moderate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling,gripping,and grasping. No fine manipulation or fine manualdexterity required.
• Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending, as required
