Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking a dependable labor/grounds position to operate lawn equipment and hand tools. The candidate must safely run a weed eater, operate zero-turn mowers, and perform weed spraying as needed on site. Strong emphasis on safety, PPE use, and teamwork in an outdoor environment is required.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, ability to work in various weather conditions, and adherence to Zachry safety policies. Overtime may be needed and reliable transportation is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and wind for duration of shift.
• Capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Follow safety policies and supervisor directions.

Responsibilities

• Operate weed eater for extended periods and drive zero-turn mowers as required.
• Use basic hand tools and perform weed spraying as directed.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, boots, respirator as needed).
• Work 40 hours per week with possible overtime and maintain reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Employee must be able to operate a weed eater for extended periods of time, capable of operating zero turn mowers, use basic hand tools, weed spraying, and fire watching as needed.

Qualifications

Physical requirements: Employee must be capable of working out in the elements such as heat, cold, rain, and wind for duration of shift.

Able to do lifting, bending, walking in different types of terrain, and standing for extended periods of time.

Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses, steel toed work boots, FRC's, work gloves, ear plugs, and half mask respirator.

Employee must be able to work 40hr week plus some required overtime if needed, have reliable transportation, show up ready to work every day, have the ability to work well with others, good communication skills, follow all of Zachry and INEOS safety policies, the ability to follow all directions given by the supervisor and stay on task.
