Superior Product Distributors, Inc. in East Hartford, CT is seeking a dependable Yard & Warehouse Associate to support daily yard and warehouse operations.

You will load/unload shipments, fulfill orders, and maintain a safe, organized work environment to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The role requires physical work, ability to handle up to 80 lbs., and the flexibility to work Monday–Friday with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or yard operations preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. or more and perform physical work in all weather conditions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments, including construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with filling and loading rental equipment for on-site pickup and deliveries.
• Receive, verify, and process incoming materials; enter inventory into the system.
• Stock, organize, label, and replenish inventory in yard and warehouse areas.
• Assist with intercompany transfers, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized yard and warehouse areas.
• Assist with rental equipment check-ins and check-outs as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to contractors, drivers, and internal teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support efficient branch operations and team success.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Yard & Warehouse Associate to join our East Hartford team.
