Job summary

LACOSTA Facility Support Services is hiring for a yard operations role in Georgia. You will safely operate non-DOT yard trucks, inspect equipment, and manage trailers and dock areas in a fast-paced warehouse yard.

The position requires background check, drug screening, and ability to lift 50+ lbs. CDL and Medical Card are preferred but not required; forklift experience is a plus. Weekly pay at $17.50 per hour accompanies benefits.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screening are required.
• Experience operating non-DOT yard trucks (yard jockeys/spotter trucks) is required.
• Experience maneuvering tractor trailers in a warehouse or yard.
• CDL and Medical Card are preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not a substitute for yard truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate non-DOT yard trucks and yard equipment.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and pre-operation checklists.
• Move, position, and clean trailers in the yard and dock areas.
• Place trailers at designated dock doors and prep docks for shifts.
• Unload raw materials and move finished production to storage bays.
• Complete documentation and report equipment issues or maintenance needs.
