Penske Logistics LLC in Rincon, GA is hiring for immediate, full-time Class A Yard Drivers. The role blends yard driving with warehouse duties, including trailer movements, clamping, loading, and packaging. Schedule is Sunday to Wednesday, 5:00 AM, four days per week.

Eligible drivers receive comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay. Qualifications include a valid CDL-A, DOT medical card, and relevant tractor-trailer experience.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A Yard Drivers

• Earn $25.50 per hour
• Overtime pay after 40 hours worked
• 75% yard driving and 25% warehouse responsibilities

Job responsibilities include a mixture of yard driving as well as work within the warehouse:

Yard driving responsibilities will include:

• Moving trailers in and out of dock as directed by leadership.
• Couple and uncouple trailers.
• Chocking trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading and pulling from doors.

Warehouse work to be performed as needed includes:

• Utilizing a clamp truck to accurately stage and sort products for loading.
• Loading and unloading trailers.
• Sorting and placing parts in racks or other designated areas.
• Stacking cardboard boxes and pallets.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Electronically scanning products using a warehouse management system.

Schedule:

• Sunday through Wednesday
• 5:00 AM start time
• Four-day work week with three days off each week

• Late-model Penske Truck Leasing day cabs and yard tractors
• 53' dry van trailers
• Stand-up clamp truck equipment
• Electric and manual pallet jacks provided for material handling

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the past 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
