Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is hiring full-time CDL Class A Yard Truck Drivers in Cincinnati. Earn $31.25/hour with overtime after 40 hours and an average annual pay of about $65,000. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Work Monday–Friday, 10 PM–6 AM, with home daily and no-touch freight, plus comprehensive benefits.

Position involves yard work and trailer moves with about 24 moves per day. Some Sundays may be required when the customer operates, and shifts start at midnight for Sunday work.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Must hold or obtain a non-excepted Interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• Clean DMV/MVR with limited moving violations.
• Fluent English; able to work schedule and pass background/drug screening.

You will drive:

• 53' dry van trailers
• Automatic transmission
• Yard truck

What you will do:

• Yard work and trailer moves
• Drop and hook
• Approximately 24 moves per day
• No-touch freight

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 10 PM to 6 AM
• Some Sunday work required when the customer is operating
• Sunday shifts start at midnight and end at 6 AM
• Average 40 to 48 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
