Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience operating yard trucks, heavy equipment, forklifts, or industrial vehicles preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and motor vehicle record review.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a yard truck to move trailers, containers, scrap metal, and other materials throughout the facility.
• Transport materials between receiving, processing, storage, and shipping areas.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain organized and safe yard storage areas.
• Operate forklifts, loaders, or other equipment when trained and assigned.
• Assist with general yard cleanup and light equipment maintenance.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Cameron Recycling, a division of Texmore Incorporated, is looking for a dependable, safety-minded Yard Truck Driver to join our team in Manvel, TX. In this role, you'll safely transport trailers, containers, scrap materials, and equipment throughout our recycling facility while helping keep daily operations running efficiently.

What You'll Do

Safely operate a yard truck to move trailers, containers, scrap metal, and other materials throughout the facility.

Transport materials between receiving, processing, storage, and shipping areas.

Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.

Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

Maintain organized and safe yard storage areas.

Operate forklifts, loaders, or other equipment when trained and assigned.

Assist with general yard cleanup, sorting materials, and light equipment maintenance.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Support the operations team with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Must be at least 21 years old.

Previous experience operating yard trucks, heavy equipment, forklifts, or industrial vehicles preferred.

Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and moving equipment.

Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.

Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.

Must be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle record review, and meet insurance requirements.

Physical Requirements

This position requires:

Working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting throughout the day.

Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.

Working around heavy equipment, dust, noise, and industrial machinery.

Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
