Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a warehouse operator to handle yard trucks and move trailers within the loading areas. The role emphasizes safety and efficiency to support shipping, receiving and production schedules while maintaining accurate records and inventory control.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and other equipment, receiving and staging materials, and ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 6 months of work experience operating a vehicle in a similar capacity for one employer in the last 24 months, or hold a valid CDL license.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, yard trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and Tyson Foods policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard trucks to move trailers safely and efficiently between designated locations.
• Coordinate trailer movements to support shipping, receiving, and production schedules.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, stage, and transport materials.
